HOME BOARDING / LESSONS HORSES FOR SALE
Pleasant View Farm
We are proud to offer boarding options from pasture board to all inclusive board. All inclusive board includes all care of the horse, including deworming, scheduling farriers (boarder to pay any farrier fees) and daily grooming. Signed boarding contracts required for all boarders. All prices are per horse boarded.
BOARDING OPTIONS:
ALL INCLUSIVE BOARD
$350 per month
Daily turnout (conditions permitting), daily stall cleaning, grain and bedding. Daily grooming, deworming, scheduling farriers and vets (boarder to pay all farrier/vet fees for their horse(s)/ponies). Mane pulling/trimming.
FULL BOARD
$250 per month
Daily turnout (conditions permitting), daily stall cleaning, grain, hay and bedding.
PASTURE BOARD
$125 per month
Offered on a limited basis, summer only currently. Grass pasture with access either to a water trough or pond.
ROUGH BOARDING
$125 per month
Stall provided by stable. Boarder to provide hay, grain, bedding and full care of his/her horse. Boarder to feed his/her horse(s) 2x's daily within the "normal" feeding times unless prior arrangements have been made.
Additional Boarding Fees: Mares and foals sharing stalls are an additional $25 per month for rough boarders and $50 per month for full boarders.
SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL FEES:
Mane pulling: $20, included in all inclusive board
Trimming (whiskers and under jaw): $10, included in all inclusive board
Trimming (fetlocks): $10, included in all inclusive board
Deworming: $15
Holding horse for vet/farrier available at an additional fee; fee to be determined by time required and procedure being done.
LESSONS:
Whenever it is appropriate we ask that the the person taking lesson helps with the grooming, tacking and untacking of the horse/pony that is being used for the lesson. We feel that understanding horses is a vital part of a person's ability to ride a horse/pony and necessary to achieving true understanding of horses and horsemanship.
Private lessons available for $25 for 1/2 hour and $35 for an hour.
Group lessons (no more than 3 riders per lesson) available for $15 for 1/2 hour and $20 for an hour.
